Who can take part in the Late Summer School, how to register, and what costs are involved?
Here you will find an overview of all the key information.
Who can attend the Late Summer School?
The Late Summer School is open to:
- all German and international first-year students of the participating Bachelor’s degree programmes who start their studies in the winter semester, and
- all international exchange students in any degree programme who start their exchange semester at our university in the winter semester.
The preparatory courses are designed for first-year students, but interested Master’s students are also very welcome to join.
A compact German language course is offered specifically for international exchange students.
How much does participation cost?
Participation in the Late Summer School requires a fee.
- The basic fee is €60.
- The Get-to-Know Bowling event costs an additional €12.
- The Blacklight Minigolf event has an additional fee of €10.
Please note: Costs for accommodation and meals are the responsibility of the participants.

You can register for the Late Summer School 2025 at the Magdeburg campus from August until mid-September 2025 via this platform.
