The Test Library is a resource centre and lending service dedicated to the appropriate and professional selection, application, evaluation and scientific innovation and further development of psychological diagnostic testing methods.

It is affiliated with the Department of Applied Human Sciences at the Stendal campus of Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences and is headed by Prof. Dr Gabriele Helga Franke.

The test library’s inventory currently comprises over 700 different first copies and a total stock of approximately 1,500 tests.

The following services are offered:

• Provision of psychodiagnostic test procedures
• On-site use and loan of Testothek materials
• Provision of information on psychological diagnostic procedures and user training
• Administrative tasks and maintenance of customer records

The Test Library is organisationally affiliated with the main library as a specialist library; this means that borrowing and returns are handled via the library’s OPAC system. On-site borrowing of test procedures subject to special legal protection remains restricted to students and alumni of the Rehabilitation Psychology programme. There are no plans to introduce an interlibrary loan service in the foreseeable future.
