About the workshop

The job search can be challenging – and in Germany, the unique nature of the German job market can make this job search even more difficult. What am I qualified for? What do German employers want in an applicant? How do I find job postings, and what can I do if I’m not able to find one? What employers are most interested in applicants like me? In this workshop, we’ll go over what German employers expect, and how German cultural values shape the hiring process. We’ll explore the best places to look for a job in Germany, and learn how to find the “hidden internships” that aren’t always posted. We’ll talk about what you need to know about the application process, and develop strategies for a successful job search.
