Deutschlandsemesterticket
The Deutschlandsemesterticket has been in force since the summer semester of 2025 and has thus replaced the previous Semester Ticket.
All enrolled students – with the exception of those on continuing education programmes – who have paid their semester fees to Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences are eligible to use the Germany Semester Ticket.
The Deutschlandsemesterticket is valid throughout Germany on all forms of local public transport (not valid on ICE, IC or EC services). It is valid for one person only, is non-transferable and is only valid when presented alongside an official form of photo ID.

You will be automatically logged out if you have not opened the MVB app for 30 days. However, the Germany Semester Ticket is only displayed whilst you are logged in.
To ensure you have your Germany Semester Ticket to hand at all times in case of ticket inspections, we therefore recommend opening the app before every journey.
