Within the framework of the Bologna process, Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences is actively involved in the creation of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and has undertaken to adhere to the fundamental principles and quality criteria of the Erasmus University Charter. Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences pursues the objective of creating transnationally compatible degrees to facilitate international cooperation and mobility for students, lecturers and staff.
The University maintains contact with numerous universities all over the world, which are continuously fostered and expanded.
In addition to various exchange programmes, Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences also offers internationally oriented and English-taught degree programmes. Students on all courses of study expressly have the opportunity and in some cases are required to complete up to two semesters of their academic studies abroad.
The Erasmus Programme plays a key role in the mobility of students and teachers.
The entire university pursues the underlying internationalisation strategy, which is channeled and supported by the Prorectorate for Academic and International Affairs, the International Office and the Commission for International Affairs. These three bodies also ensure that the international activities of all university members are coordinated and communicated in order to make competences in this area are brought together.
