Study Programmes

Please note, that the language of instruction at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences is German in nearly all programmes. Foreign applicants have to prove adequate language skills in German. There are different language level requirements for our degree programmes, which can be fulfilled by means of appropriate certificates or references. These requirements are structured as follows:

Language Level 1
Evidence of the necessary German language skills can be provided in the form of:

• Goethe-Zertifikat C1
• DSD II
• DSH I
• TestDaF (minimun level 3 in the examination modules)
• TELC Deutsch C1 Hochschule
• ÖSD C1
• evidence of having passed the entrance examination at a preparatory college

Language Level 2
Evidence of the necessary German language skills can be provided in the form of:

• Goethe-Zertifikat C2
• DSD II
• DSH II
• TestDaF (minimun 16 total points & minimun level3 in the examination modules)
• TELC Deutsch C1 Hochschule
• ÖSD C2
• evidence of having passed the entrance examination at a preparatory college

Language Level 3
Evidence of the necessary German language skills can be provided in the form of:

• DSH 3
• TestDaF (minimun 3x level 5 and 1x level 4 in the examination modules)
• equivalent certificates

• In addition, evidence must be provided of knowledge of the English language to level B2.
