Student Excursion to the People's Republic of China: Thematic summer excursion "Chinese Culture Experience Program" in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia
Our Chinese partner university "Inner Mongolia University" invites OVGU and H2 students to get to know China from the perspective of Chinese culture, history and academia. The main destination is the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The thematic excursion is particularly aimed at students of engineering disciplines.

Eligibility: Students enrolled at Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal are welcome to apply. The subject-specific excursion is designed for students of engineering disciplines in particular.

Visa rules:
In 2026, visa-free entry in China up to 30 days is available for citzens of Germany and certain other nationalities.
If visa requirements apply due to nationality, participants must apply for a visa themselves.
Services included: All program costs including accommodation (double rooms), meals, and transport within China are covered by the Chinese hosts.
Not included: Round-trip airfare to China (approx. €900 - €1,400), visa fees (if applicable)
Program duration: Expected 31 July/1 August 2026 - 12/13 August 2026
Flight to/from Beijing: Group travel, possibly individual travel
Group size: 7 seats for H2 students

After completing and submitting the application form, you will receive an email requesting you to register. Click on the link in the email and fill in the additional information. Once you have successfully registered, you can upload your application documents.

- Valid proof of English proficiency
- Passport
The passport must be valid until at least 15 February 2027, or a new one must be applied for, when selected as participant.
