Semesters abroad take our students to all kinds of places around the world! Whether it's building schools in Ghana, studying languages in Argentina, designing exhibitions in Jordan, researching at CERN in Switzerland or an industry semester in the USA.
Organized by students at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, "Ferndurst & Wissensweh" events are a series of interesting talks about far away destinations, studies, visits and internships abroad. These evening events are open to all students of our University, the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg and interested visitors.
The speakers report on their stays abroad, their search for a suitable place of study or internship, financing options, travel preparations and their experiences concerning the country, the people and the culture. Information is also available on scholarship programmes. The University's International Office and the Erasmus Traineeship Office Saxony-Anhalt offer their support with valuable information on financing and scholarship opportunities.
